Swansway Motor Group has once again shown strong community spirit, raising more than £2,000 for Gingerbread Family Support through the popular £50 Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge.

The friendly competition saw three internal teams from HR, Marketing and the Contact Centre take on the challenge of turning an initial £50 into the highest fundraising total over six weeks. HR came out on top with an impressive £1,255.87, followed by the Contact Centre with £399.50 and the Marketing team with £356.20.

Throughout the challenge, teams threw themselves into a packed programme of fundraising, hosting raffles, cake sales and even the daring I’m a Director Get Me Out Of Here challenge. The result was a brilliant £2,011.57 raised in support of families across Staffordshire and Cheshire who are facing homelessness or crisis.

Jess Druce, Fundraising Manager at Gingerbread Family Support, said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Swansway entered three teams into this year’s £50 Challenge and raised over £2,000 for Gingerbread Family Support. The funds raised will go directly to helping families who’ve reached crisis point, giving them the support they need to get back on their feet. Having Swansway not only take part but also sponsor the event makes it even more special, and we’re incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to our community.”

Emma Goodall, Dealership Marketing Manager at Swansway Motor Group, said:

“We’re incredibly proud of all our teams for throwing themselves into this year’s Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge and raising such an amazing amount for such an important local charity. Seeing the creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm across HR, Marketing and our Contact Centre has been brilliant. To raise over £2,000 for families in crisis is a fantastic achievement and we couldn’t be happier to continue supporting Gingerbread Family Support and the vital work they do in our community.”

The Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge continues to bring people together in support of a cause that makes a real difference. It gives local businesses the opportunity to get creative while raising vital funds for families who need help the most.
