Staffordshire Moorlands Pride has announced its return for 2026, promising a vibrant, community-led weekend of celebration from Friday 26 June to Sunday 28 June 2026. Organized by OUTSIDE Arts, the festival celebrates LGBTQ+ lives, creativity, and pride across the entire region.
In a departure from traditional single-site Pride events, the 2026 festival will be decentralized. Events will take place across various towns, villages, and community spaces throughout the Moorlands, ensuring the celebration is accessible, local, and rooted in the places where people live.
Call for Community Participation
OUTSIDE Arts is inviting individuals, community groups, venues, artists, and businesses to get involved by hosting their own events during the Pride weekend. Creative contributions could include:
- Performances and exhibitions
- Workshops and talks
- Film screenings
- Social meet-ups and family-friendly activities
- Inclusion-focused creative projects
“Staffordshire Moorlands Pride is about visibility, connection and creativity. We want Pride to feel like it belongs to everyone, wherever they are in the Moorlands. By inviting people to programme events locally, we can create a weekend that truly reflects the diversity, talent and warmth of our communities.”
— Katie Aldous, Director for OUTSIDE Arts
Support and Coordination
Whether an event is large or small, formal or informal, OUTSIDE Arts will provide the necessary coordination, promotion, and support to unite the activities under the shared banner of Staffordshire Moorlands Pride 2026.
The festival aims to be a welcoming and joyful celebration not only for the LGBTQ+ community but also for allies, families, and neighbors across the region. Further details on how to propose events and the specific support available will be announced in the coming months.
