Sleeping Beauty has now had its opening night at The Kings Hall and it has brought a lovely burst of festive magic to Stoke. SATS, Stoke Amateur Theatre Society, opened their Christmas panto last night and it was clear from the start that the audience were in for a real treat.
It feels like everything a family panto should be. Affordable, welcoming and full of fun, it has that brilliant mix of laughter and warmth that makes a Christmas outing feel special. If you are planning something with the kids this season, this one is definitely worth looking at and booking while seats are still available.
As soon as the curtain went up, the cast had everyone laughing, clapping and joining in. The children on stage were wonderful to watch, full of confidence and charm, and a real reminder of why it is so important to support local groups like SATS. The dancers added great energy and kept the pace lively all the way through.

SATS have once again shown how much they bring to the local theatre scene. They make live performance accessible, fun and rooted in community spirit, and it is lovely to see families enjoying it together.
Sleeping Beauty is running at The Kings Hall in Stoke until Wednesday 10 December, so if you fancy a festive night out, it is well worth booking before the tickets go.
